The first shot in this mini-gallery was my very first attempt at off-camera lighting way back in the day.

The light is a little harsh and a little blue, but this could be mistaken for harsher sunlight (perhaps; if you didn’t know what you were looking for). I now only use one off-camera flash for most shoots, with the attempt of using sunlight as my other light. This works… until the end of September when sunlight peters out by 7:00PM.

A Godox AD200Pro has long been on my wishlist and has now reached the top spot.

My first attempt at off-camera lighting in my life. Two lights — one off to my right from this perspective, and another further away, off to my left, and pointed at the ceiling to produce some fill lighting. Worked OK.
