Flying in the face of everything I said right here, Olympus posted a 5% increase in mirrorless sales for fiscal 2016.

Not only that, but Olympus says the growth can be attributed to its OM-D, PEN-F, and PRO lens launches in 2015. Throughout these product launches, I half expected Olympus to concede the high-end, professional realm to the big full-frame players, and instead opt to capture as much of the consumer/prosumer market as possible. They’ve done the opposite, and apparently it’s worked so far.

Colour me impressed.
