I pushed an update to my list of best Micro 4/3 lenses. This list was first published in July 2015 and has consistently been my most visited piece ever since. I feel obliged to keep it up to date so I don’t lead anyone astray.

The first post-publishing addition to the list is the Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 lens. I received the lens shortly after publishing the list of best lenses and I quickly realized I would need to update the list to include the lens. The 15mm lens combines impeccable build quality — although, inexplicably, it’s not weather-sealed —, fast autofocus, and an incredibly small profile. I’d argue this is the best walk-around lens in the Micro 4/3 system and it will probably be the only lens I keep if I decide to change systems in the future.

If you’re looking for a straightforward list to the best Micro 4/3 lenses in the system, this list (and its newest addition) have you covered.
