I imagine there are more than a few RAM and boosted storage purchases due to “just in case” justifications. I’m guilty of them myself. I have, however, found myself increasing able to shy away from extra storage on my devices — nearly everything lives in the cloud at this point, with local storage being required simply to download photos or documents on demand. I’m likely on my own on this one, but I really like being able to save some extra cash by avoiding the extra storage.
