How much of this video is perfectly planned and how much of it is sheer luck?

This is the dock we’ve been waiting for; a dock capable of harnessing the power of Thunderbolt 4 and providing an exquisite set of docks in an impressively designed package. It has the price to go with it, but I suspect the price may not matter to those looking to truly — I mean truly — turn their MacBook Pro into a docked workstation.

In some rad world, my gnarly Keychron Q5 keyboard will sport these incredible keycaps and Boba U4 Silent Tactile switches. I’d say I want a Moonlander more, but finding ortholinear switches for the Moonlander seems to be a pain in the butt.

We’ve long known Star Wars took special effects to new heights. But the actual mechanics of it? Actually seeing the problems solved each time a new problem arose? This new series from Disney+ is absolutely awesome. I love Dykstra’s comment about the Star Destroyer being entirely in focus for the opening shot from A New Hope.

Perhaps this is a spoiled point of view and the result of living in a small town community, but daycare has been one of the best things to happen to our little girls in their early childhood years. Daycare has provided them a huge network of friends, vastly improved social skills, and new motor skills we couldn’t have taught them ourselves.

It is truly amazing to me how a phenomenon I have experienced in my working life has been so wonderfully put into words by Fried. “Consistent work”, they say! “Show up each day”, they say! Yet, for some reason, when “I need to get this done now” is on the line, well, it gets done. I am relieved I’m not the only person who finds some success working this way.
