The Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 Lens Review
Tuesday, Feb 02, 2016
My review of the legendary Panasonic Leica Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 went live today over at Tools & Toys.

This lens is expensive. Perhaps exorbitantly so.
But I’ve been so happy with my photos ever since my purchase. This lens makes me feel talented, and I know this because a changing of my lens quickly exposes my actual capabilities.

The Nocticron is the best lens I’ve ever used in the Micro 4/3 system. I’ve used every PRO lens from Olympus and all of Panasonic’s highest rated Leica-branded lenses. The Nocticron tops them all.
Head over to Tools & Toys to check out the review.
The Olympus PEN-F●
Thursday, Jan 28, 2016
Normally Robin Wong is overly enthusiastic about Olympus. His more subdued take on the new PEN-F should raise an eyebrow or two then:
On one hand, as an Olympus fanboy, I have high expectations in the new PEN-F, hoping that there would be a huge leap in the image quality from the new 20MP image sensor. I am sure I am not alone in this, and many Olympus loyal supporters are echoing my sentiments. Finding out that the image quality produced by the PEN-F is only slightly better than E-M10 Mark II on the whole basically toned down the level of excitement I was in when I was reviewing the camera.
At least he’s honest about being a fanboy.
