The best part about true black dark modes is not that they’re sexier to look at, it’s that they’re actually better on battery life — specifically so on the iPhone X. If you want to save a percent or two on battery life each day, be sure to throw on true black modes in apps like Reeder, Overcast, Apollo, Bear, and Hello Weather, among others.

Having this system-wide would be sweet and efficient at the same time — two of my favourite words when put in the same sentence.
