If I haven’t made it clear already, I’m incredibly opinionated when it comes to the renting vs. buying debate.

Don’t let anyone tell you buying is always the smarter option without doing your own research on your own location and within your own context. There are so many upsides to renting, not the least of which is mobility and freedom.

Do your research. Ask for advice. And don’t ignore the costs of lawyers, mortgage application fees, property taxes, and maintenance.
